If a SAS^® Stored Process File or Directory prompt has a File extenision specification, then the prompt will not work properly. When you browse a directory to select a file, no files will be displayed.

The following approach should illustrate the problem.

1. Using SAS^® Management Console, create a SAS Stored Process that has a File or directory prompt.
2. On the Prompt Type and Values tab, specify:

         Prompt type:  File or directory
    
         Selection type:  Files
    
         File Extensions:  txt
    

3. Save the settings.
4. Run the SAS Stored Process using the SAS Stored Process Web Application.
5. Using the File prompt that was defined above, drill down and select a folder that contains some *.txt files.

   No files will be shown.
